Technicians Competency Refresher Training

It is the responsibility of every asset owner and operator to ensure that each employee is fully trained and competent to undertake the work tasks given to complete.

THIS IS OF PARTICULAR IMPORTANCE TO ANYONE INSTALLING, INSPECTING, MAINTAINING OR REPAIRING EX CERTIFIED EQUIPMENT.

At APR Safety we have been approached many times by clients unable to find a suitable training course specifically aimed at reinforcing the original technical training of their technicians.

In response to that request, we developed a course specifically aimed at reinforcing, enhancing and complementing the technician’s initial ‘CompEx’ training – training which may have taken place many years previously.

OUR TRAINING INCLUDES PRACTICAL INSPECTION, INSTRUCTION, DEMONSTRATION AND COMPETENCY ASSESSMENT.

The training is offered to the maintenance team together as a group on site within the client’s premises to avoid the inconvenience and disruption associated with remote attendance and is completed in one or two days, depending on client agreed content requirements and numbers involved.

The training includes:-

• Background information on General Principals and Standards;
• Certification and Equipment Markings;
• Practical Inspection Demonstration;
• Competency Assessment.
